Good evening, Elhorranna. I caught wind of your comment on Nav's blog this afternoon. I haven't been deactivated, so to say, but I am in limbo as to my current involvement with Neurocam.

On September 29th, I made a post regarding an assignment in which I failed due to overstepping security protocol. I am under the impression that either Noah Whiteleaf or Conrad Van Norton were present and observing. Since then, all communications have ceased and I have yet to receive a new operation - but I've also been informed that Neurocam has been out of touch with many other operatives as well.

Then there was the severe Beta glitch within my BlogSpot account. I went from having a post on October 12th back to the pre-Beta format with my post regarding Operation A2-1243-01 (Advertisement Advances.) I could not modify or delete it, so I had to have Blogger Technical Support wipe out the subdomain. I was only able to archive eleven blog posts before the webcrawler cached my blank account. I have refrained from updating my blog until there is closure regarding my lengthy blackout.

Good luck on your current production, El. I hope to be seeing you around soon.

While I was Writting my NCI Screenplay

Some one you know... from a few years back... I'm an amateur screenplay writer... and I admit... NCI always has the nostalgia of "1970's Assassins ARG" or "1990's The Game"... so I study it in a way, to figure out where I can write the hero and put in the drama and build a climax.

Well today... a really good angle came my way... is it true? I have no idea. But would it make a good movie or book? Possible yes. Let's hope Dan Brown doesn't read this forum.

Assignment underway

Well, I received my newest assignment on 08/11… I’ll post my findings 7 days after I submit my report, which should be on or around… let’s see… to complete this all… August 20th. Plus 7 days... so the 27th.

It’s something similar to what I did in Phase 1, only stepped up a notch... so should prove interesting. I’ve studied the requirements and found the best possible date/time/place to accomplish my assignment in the Chicagoland area.

My Suggested Activities to complete while awaiting your next Neurocam Assignment.

Blink wildly and then close your eyes really tight for an interesting light show
(Amusement Potential: 1-5 minutes)
See a variety of blobs, stars and flashes. Try to make out shapes and see if your subconscious is trying to send you a message (perhaps that funny shape is saying, 'send all your money to neurocam.com'?)

Use your secret mind power
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Pick a passing by and try to use your mind power to command them do something, like drop their bag or knock into someone. The law of averages dictates that sooner or later one of your mind commands will come true, so you can convince yourself that you really have super human powers and waste even more time trying them out and waiting for you next NCI assignment.

Invent a weird twitch
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Adopt a bizarre twitch (e.g. flicking your head irregularly, twitching with eye or busting out sporadic cough noises) and try it out whe you go shopping for groceries.

Watch TV, repeat everything said in Italian accent
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Sort of entertaining. Include flamboyant shoulder shrugs for added impact, or go for a Marlon Brando set of grunts.

Pick up a dog so it can see things from your point of view
(Amusement Potential: 3-5 minutes)
Think about it: your dog has only seen the house from a viewpoint from 6" to 2' high (15 to 60 cm for all you metric fans). It's never seen the tops of counters, what you keep on your desk, the tops of shelves, etc. Try looking at things from its point of view, too. (You never know, this might assist in a future NCI assignment)

Kybalion - THANK YOU for hosting the forum... it's of excellent searchable value to those on the journey, and posts by Chris Titan and other just serve as fair-warning of what they may get into for the NCI Operative Experiance.

Phase 2 is well underway, and slowly but surely these new operative will find their way here and to IRC as I had done once upon a time.

As for my current mission, I've found some speculative Art to ponder with the next 2 weeks until reporting time.

Agent Elhorranna is back home this weekend and her travels will be a bit less in July.... so let's get SOMETHING going. If you are involved in Phase 2 and know what I'm talking about, then respond... Is Neurocam Dead? I have been asking around the 'old-cam' to which Agents turned in their video.. and I'm sad to say I got a solid 3 out of the 14 persons I asked. And most had LAME excuses at that for why they didn't do it.

Where is the commitment people? Are you waiting to be put on a 'watch' list or offered something easier?

What is this list? Will another perception be sent out to the remaining 11 test their loyalty? What does the fact that from my questioning.... 79% of the Ops I 'knew' ignored the latest assignment mean?

I don't know.. for now I await my instructions with the other 3 I know who completed the assignment and sent it on in... stay tuned.

I am in my office, on the Hudson of Jersey City, NJ over-looking New York City and Lower Manhattan / Brooklyn / Statue of liberty. As I sit here and take a break from Conference calls and Emails, my mind wonders outside my windows to the Water Taxi ferrying workers across the Hudson back to Staten Island, and other numerous ports of call in the NY/NJ territory. I gaze at empty hole in the skyline left by the destruction of the World Trade Center and several building in the vicinity, and I wonder how these people I work with everyday made it out of the building in time, and I understand why they relocated across the river in Jersey… only a short jaunt on the Subway or Ferry away.

7:35 – Hudson Riverwalk – enroute to Candlewood Suites – my ‘home’

Walking with my workmate I'll call *Jane*, I had to stop and stare at the most mesmerizing building in my Jersey City neighborhood. An old factory, overlooking the Hudson and Manhattan skyline... smack in the middle of all the Jersey Shore rebirth and nice buildings, neighborhoods, $800,000 1 bedroom town homes, etc… There is this old factory, that belongs in a book, or movie… it begs to be remembered, rediscovered, and breathed life into again. Although it’s structurally unsound, and a bit of an eye-soar in the depths of Glass and Contemporary architecture of 12 – 20 story high-rises… I find myself strangely saddened and drawn to this structure… I want to touch it, crawl inside its broken windows of eyes and sleep there… just for the night to see what it tells me. Listen to its story, before it’s too late and it’s just another Office High-Rise with Condo’s and little shops overlooking the Hudson. Thinking of my Factories ‘fate’ in the coming months is the ‘Out of the Ordinary’ part of my evening…

As I enter che "Candlewood" and take the stairs 5 stories up to my 1 bedroom ‘apartment’ suite… I can’t help but peak thru the stairwell windows and stare at her… that beautiful forgotten specimen of America’s great industrial age… I enter my room and boot up my laptop and open the windows to let the evening spring breezes in, and raise the blinds so I can look at my new found ‘friend’ across the way as the sun sets on New Jersey......

The Big Day, final Application Test to be completed and processed.

Where did I leave off... I finally got an email from Neurocam's Operational Devision on Tuesday Night, April 13th... Issuing myself a "Test Mission of Perception" before acceptance as a recruit... Simular to the first mission I botched up with scheduling... but strangly different and tailored to my location and situation now...

[SIDENOTE]Those Recruitment Operatives sure do their background research on the many neurocam applicants. It's pretty hard to know that I would be flying into Newark, NJ on an aisle seat over the wing, in the perfect spot to see the manhattan skyline and the pink/green/white light display of the Empire State Building, as mentioned I would in my debriefing.... *amazed here*[/SIDENOTE]

So I spent the weekend thinking about my Assessment of my Perception and Agent abilities. Trying to decide "should I create an interesting situation to react to and percive? or... shall I just go with the flow and see what out of the ordinary events happen all on their own?"

Now It is Monday April 18th, my Mission of Perception begins this evening at 4:00 pm... This is my second chance in becoming a REAL Neurocam Recruit, future field Operative, and one step closer to going behind that velvet curtain. - I better not 'F' this up.

My Agent Life thus far...

I applied for the Neurocam Process about 1 week after another agent confirmed to me he was 'in the club'. I received my first confirm email about 2 weeks after the application, with a mission of perception set for 1 month later, or March 14th. My agent friend had already received a similar Perception mission, with his date being February 14th... I guess the minds of Neurocam like the 2nd Monday of the Month. ;-)

I was unable to complete my March 14th mission, due to an unexpected work move from Chicago, IL USA to New York City, NY USA... I emailed Neurocam and promptly informed them of my absence for the location of choice in the Chicagoland area on March 14th. I heard no response.. that is until 8:38 pm EST April 13th.

I was brought into the Neurocam light Jan 17th, 2005...finding a bizarre posting on a message board about "Losing Yourself in a Game"... a real life game. So I went to a website, learned everything neurocam was NOT, and emailed them my agent application... and that's when my life changed in the most fascinating and unexpected way! All Hail to the mighty Neurocam! Servants of God, Technology, and Life.
